Eddie joined SDM as Director of Sales in 2013 after spending the past 6 years as the General Manager of Acorn-Gencon Plastics, LLC in Chino, California. Eddie has worked in plastics since he was in high school, starting as a machine operator and then a tool room apprentice at Serco Mold in Covina, California. After graduating from UC Irvine in 1995, Eddie spent a year working in Information Technology. Eventually he worked as a Materials Manager and Operations Manager at Acacia Molding & Engineering Inc. in San Bernardino, California and also spent a year selling medical devices for its sister company, Acacia, Inc.
In 2000, Eddie joined Cal-Mold, Inc. as the Purchasing Manager. In 2003, he was promoted to Business Development Representative at Cal-Mold. In his two years at Cal-Mold Eddie closed the deals with major accounts such as Acco Brands and Snapware Corp. In 2005 he joined Acorn-Gencon as the Sales Manager, and was promptly promoted to General Manager where he managed all day to day operations and the business direction of the company. He is excited to bring his diverse skills and experience to SDM as he happily re-embarks on his sales career. Eddie has 17 total years of plastics molding experience.
